Brad Lloyd started playing drums at 10 years old. Growing up in Memphis,
Tennessee, his early influences ranged from hometown Stax and Hi records to
what is now considered classic rock. Having learned to play different genres
of music and different styles early on, has been a key to his success as a
drummer. Later on, formal studies with session great George Lawrence in
Nashville, Tn. has helped define and fine tune his craft.
A Beale Street veteran player, he has played with Dave Bowen, James Govan
and The Boogie Blues Band, Steve Harper, Faultline, Blues Alley Band,
"Memphis James" Yarbro, Jesse Dodson, Uncle Ben, Skip Pitts (Isaac Hayes),
sax great Charles Campbell and many more.
